Realme appears to be preparing to launch the Realme 9 series smartphones. The Chinese smartphone company is reportedly launching four Realme 9 series handsets – Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro +. The upcoming Realme 9i has been leaked several times in the past. Last week, the handset with model number RMX3941 made an appearance on the FCC and TUV Rheinland certification website. Now we have spotted the Realme 9i handset on the NBTC certification website. The NBTC certification list confirms that the RMX3941 is the code name for the Realme 9i and portends an imminent launch.
Specifications and design of the leaked Realme 9i
Renderings of the Realme 9i leaked online earlier this month. The renderings revealed that the handset will come with a design language similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 2. According to the renderings, the next mid-range Realme handset will feature a bezel-less display and a notch. perforated. The device’s screen would be a Full HD + LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The device can be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor designed on a 6nm process. The renderings revealed that the device will offer a triple rear camera setup. Additionally, the leaks suggest that the device’s primary shooter will be a 50MP sensor. While the functionality and resolutions of the other two sensors are unknown.
The device’s FCC listing has already confirmed the presence of a battery with a nominal capacity of 4880 mAh under the hood. It is also confirmed that the smartphone is preloaded with Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11. The Realme 9i will support dual band WiFi, which means that support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks is built in. It will measure 162.5mm * 74mm according to FCC certification list.
